My First post- Indian Elections- 2009

Hi guys and gals, I am posting my first post today. I was scratching my head for a long time for a good subject to post. The idea of posting about the "Dance of Democracy".
Politics is the subject I hate the most, but it is only the one road which leads to Change. Elections is a oppurtunity for common citizens like us to bring about a change. India the Developing Superpower needs change just like US. Mr. Obama is a great hope for small and independant candidates contesting elections and dreamin big.
India today is the country with most no. of Young people lead by old MPs. Old guys can't run and how the hell do they even think of runnin a country? A vast generation gap exsists between young & old thinking.
We as responsible citizens need to cast our valuable votes for a good candidate. We must vote against all pessimism eroding this "Golden Bird". We need to elect a good young candidate who has expirienced and understands the difficulties faced by Indians. not unlike those fat asses and bellies sitting in Ivory towers. There are 4 main points -

1. We see a new phenomenon rising in 2009 elections. Many new middle class candidates like Capt. Gopinath, Mallika Sarabhai, Nafisa Ali ... are takin on the big Goliaths. Dum hain yaar...

2. Politics has now become analogus with fish market, the no of Parties exceeds the members that Parliament can occupy ;). The Indian Constitution needs to be amended and provision should be made for two party system. two party system will lead to static stability in the House and will have strong governance control. But amending Indian Constitution will be like Belling the Cat. It is impossible to amend it now without bloodshed.

3. THE INDIAN SUBCONTINENT IS BURNING...
India is currently engulfed in a ring of fire, terrorism in Northwest, ilegal immigration and Naxalites in Northeast, Sri Lanka Burning in South. These are all decicing factors in outcome of elections. During this Recession we cannot happen to build up brittle parliament with floors shifting and money flowing to disrupt the newly formed government. These extertnal factors are also intrested in screwing our elections up.

4. VOTE FOR CANDIDATE, NOT FOR THE PARTY...
We are blaming for the bad government and its a paradox that we are the one who elect them. As we sow so shall we reap. See and study the candidates profile and then cast your vote for him. Never give your vote , if he has a court case pending against him. Only the criminals go to court.

I pray the Lord to make "Dance of Democracy" fair and non-violent. I am feelin sad that I cannot vote this time as I am registered in Ahmednagar , but presently in Bangalore.

Jai Hind Jai Maharashtra
