I think I am diverting myself from the post topic. It tells- Gases are beautiful ....I don't mean it in a funny way at all, plz avoid the activation of your olfactory system. The funny thing about these so called states of matter lies in its abundance. As a child, my thinking patterns were fantastic. I used to wonder, that the gases were of least importance in states of matter. It is coz we can just ''feel'' them. And till today I have never got the real meaning of this ''feel''. The solids are my favorite, as I can see, touch, feel, imagine, and ....EAT them. Then the silver medal goes to liquids..they are same as solids in their characteristics, difference lies in their molecular enmity. The liquid molecules are professional dudes, they know how to behave with each other. These "Blackberry Boys" (The dudes dancing in Blackberry ad dressed in suits) are good at socializing (liquids take shape of container they are poured in) and I can DRINK liquids.
Now, I put my mind on gases....hmmmm pretty smart fellas to say! As a child I accorded the least importance to them and had some of my imaginary friends sculpted in them. But as I progressed in my academic life, I studied a lot about them. Now as a dude who has to play with Gas Turbines sometimes, I can understand their importance. Their molecules I can call them ''thirsty for energy'' you give them heat and they will start running around like having their bums on fire :).
I now rate gases amongst some beautiful things created by Lord. Stars Are formed out of gases mainly hydrogen ( the most abundant element in universe ) by gravitational attraction and fusion. The atmosphere is made of gases, by its grace we are alive to think about gases :). As an engineer, I can conclude that without them no air-breathing engine would have been successful. The Industrial Revolution?...No way!!! I just owe a lot to gases. My viewpoint changed as I came across their more majestic properties. The reason for writing on such topic is due to a small debate which I had wit my colleagues. I find it humorous to
share with you.
...I forgot to tell that I
can BREATHE gases Ha...
